A HOMELY
GRACE

Today is the first week and also the last week for us to join the Grace activities. Because of the haze, our previous week’s GRACE session has been canceled. Due to this, we have no idea what’s will going on today, in my mind, we are going to help them to do some simple tasks such as sorting and cleaning.
However, when we reached there, the person who in-charged the GRACE gives us a brief about what we going to do today, I can feel it that this would be a tougher task for every one of us as I can see some of my classmate’s face expression was like not willing to join with. By the way, the person who in-charged today’s session starts to separate us into two or three groups which will be doing different tasks. As I was standing at a place whereby even I rose up my hand and there will be no one can realize me. U can imagine how tall I am. Nonetheless, I will be joining the last group which will be going to the second floor to give our strength by helping them in tidy up the store room.
When I go inside the store room, it’s really shocked me as there are so much of clothes on the tables, and some of them have already well-packed with boxes or plastic bags. After that will be the briefing session. The briefing session just took us 2 minutes of time, then we start to walk to the place that we want to take over and in-charged in, and I walk to the end of the room and stand in front of the tables which full with Women’s clothes. Yet, I realized each table have been categorized by the gender and age. As we know that our time is precious, we cut the cackle and get down to our business. At first, few classmates and I who in-charged the same category of clothes facing some issues that we are actually doing the same things and it will make us slow down moving forwards to the next step, therefore, we separate into few tasks. Each of us has our own task to concentrate with. Minutes by minutes, I start involves in this busy track, although some of the time I feel quite tiring as I was keep standing since few hours ago. That’s the way it goes until 4.30pm, which the time for us to get back to our campus.
In this GRACE session, I can feel how warm GRACE will give to the people who are actually in needs. They need us, not only need our help, but they need our love and care, and GRACE just like their home, providing clothes, foods, and etc. to them. From another point of view to look after the GRACE, it seems like a homely grace. I went before some orphanages, help them in their studies and now I get to know that there is another chance for me to involves more into their life indirectly. Appreciate the chance provided and I really hope that we can actually replace our previous week’s GRACE session by going to the GRACE once again.
