This week is my team to take over the task to facilitate and lead the classroom based activities. The day before tomorrow, my group members and I had met up once again to discuss the flow and activities that we had planned earlier in order to make sure that everything will run smoothly on the next day. Nonetheless, I can say that we are actually not well-prepared although we have been met up for discussion few weeks ago. It indicated that our discussion was not efficient enough. Yet, until today, when it is our turn to lead the class, there is still no one willing to stand in front of the class and start the first activity.

 

 

Until our tutor, Miss Caroline spoke something to us...

 

... then we only start to take some actions. Meanwhile, I asked one of my group members, Yen Chen to take over the first task which is stand in front the class and make an announcement to the mentors and mentees, "10 minutes later we will stop doing the exercises and have a break with sort of activities". She did it. However, all the mentors and mentees did not really corporate with us. They insist on continue and finish the exercises with their mentees. 10 minutes has past, I walked in front the class and announce once again. Yet, they still want to continue the exercises. I feel so speechless and at the same time I feel so helpless, even my group members also not taking any actions as they don't know what to do. Miss Caroline seems like know that we are facing some issues, therefore, she came in front the class and help me to stop them as we can continue towards our next session -gaming session-.

 

 

In the sudden, i know that even I don’t feel like continue to take over the game session, I still need to do so because I have to take this responsibility. As the idea was modified by me, therefore, I am the only one who very clear about the rules and regulations of the game. After everything has settled down, we started our GAMMY session. I stand on a chair so that everyone can see me and listen to me. After I introduced the game we are going to play later on, I realized that there's no any excitement’s face expression from them, even the mentors. But I still continue with the little confident that I have as I know that while running the game it will be better and fun. 3 minutes later, the game was started.

We ended up playing for 3 rounds; although it seems like a little messy while the game is running but it shows a little success too as we can run it and end up nicely. Although everything ran not very smooth today, but at least we tried it and we did it. I trust that I will be better for the next time. In today session, I realized how important to have a teamwork with your team members. It's all about teamwork while been in a group.
